My Mercedes...:-)
Hi there...
I am back to my blogs after a long time. It has been tiring work all these days at office and back home which ofcourse didn't let me blog.
Few things which had kept me happy: my Mercedes back in my hands, meeting my sister after 2 long years.
My Mercedes - thats my 97 Camry ;-) It was a Green one with a rear spoiler and moon roof on top. This was the car which I had in Dayton,Ohio an year and half back.
Oh what a good company it gave me..to roam around in Dayton and had helped me be independant. It was infact a cause for me to be proud of.
I had to sell it then due to skeptical office deputations. Didn't want to sell it though. It was my first car out of my own earnings. Now the happiest thing is I got my same Camry back!!!!!!
Though I had imagined how happy it would be to have it back, I did not think it would happen.
It makes me think that it had some bond tied to me and I wonder even if it had longed for me.
And another note here is I have christened its license plate with my name - yes, it is "SEETHA".
Here goes its picture...

As I mentioned I did meet my sister after 2 long years. Probably God knew that it would take much longer for me to fly to India to visit my family..so he thought it would be better if he can get them to US..she had come to Boise,ID for her company TCS. Good thing was I could be there to recieve her rather than it was supposed to be..thanks to the American flights..they too are like Indian buses..you should never expect their arrivals as scheduled! She looked real thin..and tired after a long journey of nearly 19 hrs...all the way from Chennai - Paris - Denver to Boise. Good for her she could make some company on the plane to talk with..I was actually amazed that she remained the same with respect to talking to all strangers as though they seemed like her old company.
And then we roamed around Boise all night for nearly 2 hrs in the rented car to find the hotel we had booked through Internet. I knew Lacchu would find it difficult to understand all that on the same day..oops night of her arrival but dint expect to her to exclaim.."Oh I dont like this US..wish I had stayed in India"..couldn't control my laughter after hearing that...just because I kept telling her the same since the day I landed here...its all time which could help you feel accustomed to the new environment....and thats what I told her!
The next day was good roaming around Boise helping her with all shopping and then I flew back to Charlotte the day after. Its then when I again realized how much I missed my parents and family.
Now planning serously to visit India soon.
